The site helps you find out your rights when you are in a place where you are not allowed to be. If you are in a place where you are not allowed to be, it will display an alert on your screen saying “I am not allowed to be here, therefore you cannot enter or leave my space.” The project has also added a new feature to allow you to know your rights when youare in a place where you are not allowed to be.
This new feature allows you to check for your rights in an area without being able to get around security guards. Its really useful because you will be able to know if you are in a place where you are not allowed to be.
This is part of a larger “Know Your Rights” initiative that’s in place across the country to try and improve laws around “The Right to Know”. It was created in response to a series of mass shootings in Chicago, where three people were shot in the course of three days. A new law will now be in place for every shooting.
It is important to understand the situation before you are stopped by a security guard. If you don’t, you run the risk of being arrested and potentially jailed as well as having your rights violated.
