I’ve always been a fan of land contracts because it’s such a flexible process, so I love that it allows the builder to control the timeline. For me, land contracts is the best system because of the way the builder is able to determine what the costs are for the home, and that’s something I always have questions about.

The reason land contracts work and why they do is because it allows the builder to control the timeline. These “land contract” houses are the ones that you have to start with to start getting a good, accurate depiction of your home before you can start building.
