Ive never been charged with anything in my life. Ive been in this country without charges ever since I was 18. But now, after 12 years, I can tell you that the government is not my enemy.
I think there are two ways to look at this. One is that in 12 years, I have paid a lot of dues. I have been arrested. I have been sentenced. I have been convicted. I have spent a lot of time in jail. I have paid a lot of money. I have paid for my education. I have paid for my health insurance. I have spent a lot of money on attorneys.
I don’t know about you, but I have been looking for a way to get rid of the government from one month to the next. I mean, they were never on my side. They were always the last one standing, always the most powerful, always in charge. After all, there are laws that require people to be in a certain place at a certain time. And there are laws that say that certain people can’t be in certain places at certain times.
To be honest, I have become obsessed with the idea of expunging the federal conviction on my record.
