I love it when people talk about the self-defense element! That’s a great way to describe the self-defense skills you have to develop. I’m not talking about the type of skills you have to develop, but the skills you have to develop in order to act out, to stay calm, and to keep the mind and the body in balance.

If you want to survive, you have to make sure your mind, body, and spirit are all in balance. You’ve gotta learn to be able to do that, and it takes practice to be able to do it. You know, some people need to learn martial arts, and some people need to learn self-defense. You need to learn to be able to act your way out of a tight spot, to be able to get through an actual fight.

The question we have to ask ourselves is, “Do I really want to die?” If you have the skills to survive a fight, do you want to? People say they want to die, but the question is, can you do it? I think that people who are good at fighting and have the skills to survive are the people who are most likely to be able to survive a fight.
